The go getter in ‘Dwarakish Chitra’ Yogi, son of pride of Karnataka Dwarakish has come out with some of the top ideas in the mind of his father.

In an exclusive chat Yogi described ‘Charulatha’ in four languages is at a cost of Rs.6.5 crores in which 4 crores plus is already covered before release – there is only risk for Rs.2 crores. The risk was more while doing the film.

After 32 days of shooting of this ‘Alone’ Thailand film we thought of making it in Tamil dubbing it to Telugu with 22 days of shooting with some more characters remembers Yogi.

The films that are running in the mind of Dwarakish are – Salam Cinema – Shivarajakumar is appropriate star for this film. This will be the 50th film of Dwarakish Chitra.

The most important that calls for Rs.20 crore budgeted is ‘Karnataka Vaibhava’ from Hoysala dynasty to Kempe Gowda period – a historical film. It has to be with top stars – Sudeep, Darshan, Shivarajakumar, Upendra etc are need for this kind of cinema. There will be no connections of one start to another in this film. They will be representing one era of history says Dwarkish. For this film we have thought of Ambarish Mama in the commentary throughout the film.

Another fantastic subject with ‘Appa’ is that of ‘Aalada Mara’. That subject was thought for Dr Vishnuvardhana uncle. Now we have in mind persons like Mammooty or Mohan Lal.

·         Matran of Suriya and ‘Charulatha’ are different. We have more emotions and that is highly commercial. ‘Matraan’ is based on ‘Stuck on You’ English film.

·         The success of this film ‘Charulatha’ would take us to Hindi cinema. Rani Mukerjee, Asin and Kareena Kapoor are in mind.

·         We have in branding kind with Ashok Kheny for three films – Vishnuvardhana and Charulatha AKK entertainer has the logo.

·         Today – Tuesday at 4 pm ‘Charulatha’ Kannada will be censored in Bangalore. In Tamil it is tomorrow.

·         One of my brothers working in Wipro is looking after expenses, another brother on proceedings and I am running around.

·         In Kannada Charulatha Sudarshan, Sunethra, Skanda are in the cast. In Tamil Arathi replaces Sunethra.

·         For Charulatha we have shot in Kashmir, Booth Bungalow, Tamarind Tree, Chennai.

·         We have Sharanya and Seetha – the emotions conceived are different from Kannada to Tamil.

·         The first audition to Priyamani was done for our banner in 2001 remembers Yogish.

·         The sharing of profits is like this – In Karnataka we get 75 and Global one get 25 percent, in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala Global one get 75 and we get 25 percent share from the earnings.
